Beenleigh Customer Service Centre moves to George Street

Logan City Council’s Beenleigh Customer Service Centre will be operating from a new site from 21 August.

The new centre on 105 George St, on the corner of City Road, will serve customers from 8am on Monday, 21 August, replacing Council’s former customer service centre on Manila St, which closed its doors on 18 August.

Friendly staff will continue to provide the same services which were offered at the Manila Street site.

Mayor Luke Smith said the new Beenleigh Customer Service Centre will include a new office for Division 12 Councillor Jennie Breene, who represents Beenleigh, Eagleby and part of Mt Warren Park.

“It will be the first permanent divisional office in the City of Logan,” Mayor Smith said.

Councillor Breene said the new divisional office at the Beenleigh Customer Service Centre will provide better accessibility to the community.

“The new divisional office in Beenleigh will allow us to increase engagement with residents and make it easier to discuss matters that affect the local community,” Cr Breene said.

“With our new Customer Service Centre located in the heart of Beenleigh, we hope more people will visit the area and support local businesses.

“We have 10 dedicated customer service parking spaces on John Lane, including an accessible parking space for people with a disability.”

The Beenleigh Customer Service Centre is open from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.45pm, while Cr Breene’s office hours are from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm.
