Browns Plains to welcome back Eats & Beats

Published: 18 Aug 2017

With plenty of food options, kids’ entertainment and live music, Eats & Beats is set to guarantee a great night out for the whole family when it returns to Browns Plains this Friday (25 August).

City Image Committee Chairperson Councillor Laurie Smith said this month’s Eats & Beats will be held outside the food court at Grand Plaza, 27-49 Browns Plains Road, Browns Plains.

“The pop-up food truck and music festival, held on the last Friday of the month, has been popular with local residents and visitors from outside the region since it started making its way around the City of Logan more than two years ago,” Cr Smith said.

“There’s no entry fee to enjoy lots of delicious food and great music, so it’s a great way for the community to get together and celebrate what our region has to offer.”

Everyone will be catered for, with a number of food trucks providing gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.

“We recommend people get there early to beat the crowds,” Cr Smith added.

“Seating will be provided, although patrons are welcome to bring a picnic rug or chairs to the event.”

Eats and Beats runs from 5pm to 9pm. Like the Facebook page facebook.com/eatsandbeatslogan or go to www.visitlogan.com.au/eatsandbeats to find out more about Eats and Beats, including details on food trucks, live entertainment, parking and traffic management.
