Plan ahead to avoid parking blues this Carols

Published: 04 Dec 2014

As this year's City of Logan Mayor's Carols draws closer, attendees are being reminded to plan ahead to avoid parking woes.

Limited parking options will be available on-site at Logan Gardens, however a park'n'ride facility will operate free of charge from Logan Central Plaza shopping centre.

Mayor Pam Parker said excitement was building ahead of next Saturday's spectacular event and encouraged attendees to make sure they plan their night.

"This year's event will also feature night markets selling arts and crafts – the perfect place to pick up last minute Christmas gifts for the family," she said.

"I would encourage anyone attending the event to arrive early and soak in the summer atmosphere.

"We're thrilled to have rising pop sensation Nathaniel headline this year's carols, supported by Logan community carollers.

"It promises to be a sensational evening for all the family."

The 2014 City of Logan Mayor's Christmas Carols will commence from 3.30pm Saturday, 13 December at Logan Gardens, Civic Parade, Logan Central.
