Beat the winter chill at this month’s Logan food truck extravaganza at Logan Village.
City Image Committee Chairperson Councillor Laurie Smith said the next Eats & Beats session would be held from 5pm to 9pm on 30 June at Village Green, Logan St, Logan Village.
“Eats & Beats is a must-do event for families and food lovers, delivering mouth-watering meals and live music acts, performing throughout the evening,” Cr Smith said.
“This is the first time we have taken Eats & Beats to Logan Village and this is part of our plan to rotate this event to different locations within the city.
“We invite everyone in the community to attend and be part of this wonderful night.
“Eats & Beats offers a fantastic way for people to begin their weekend and wind down with some great food and entertainment from across the world at South East Queensland’s biggest monthly pop-up food truck festival.
“We’ll have almost 30 food trucks set up on the green and there will be plenty of places to stretch out and eat dinner with your friends and family,” Cr Smith said.
“Eats & Beats is a free event so we always recommend people get there early to beat the crowds and bring a picnic rug or chair, just in case there is a high demand for seating on the night.”
Eats & Beats runs from 5pm to 9pm and will welcome back regular food truck favourites including That BBQ Joint, Tender Calamari, Crunchy’s Waffles, Sushi to the Max and many more.
