Outdoors

The City of Logan has some of the most accessible bushland reserves in South East Queensland, most with walking and cycle trails, boardwalks, barbecue facilities and shelters. Explore pristine natural areas and keep an eye out for koalas, wallabies and possums, and a host of native bird species. In our eucalypt forests you’ll discover gorges, cliffs and unique rock formations – right in the heart of suburbia.

Our city has more than 900 parks across 67 suburbs. Perfect for time out with family and friends, our parks offer outdoor exercise equipment, state-of-the art playgrounds and fun features including disk golf, a parkour course and flying foxes. You can fish from pontoons by the river, or relax under 200-year-old eucalypts.

Berrinba Wetlands

The best way to enjoy these 80 hectares of wetlands is along more than eight kilometres of shared walking and bicycle tracks. There are picnic spots throughout this natural haven, which has 100 nesting boxes for bids, possums and gliders. The kids will love the interactive environmental education (easily accessible on arrival) and state-of-the art play equipment. Designed to protect the natural environment, Berrinba Wetlands is a must-see for nature lovers.
