Outdoors

The City of Logan has some of the most accessible bushland reserves in South East Queensland, most with walking and cycle trails, boardwalks, barbecue facilities and shelters. Explore pristine natural areas and keep an eye out for koalas, wallabies and possums, and a host of native bird species. In our eucalypt forests you’ll discover gorges, cliffs and unique rock formations – right in the heart of suburbia.

Our city has more than 900 parks across 67 suburbs. Perfect for time out with family and friends, our parks offer outdoor exercise equipment, state-of-the art playgrounds and fun features including disk golf, a parkour course and flying foxes. You can fish from pontoons by the river, or relax under 200-year-old eucalypts.

Cornubia Forest Park

This lush 196-hectare forest is the perfect place to breathe in, unwind and reconnect with nature. The pristine bushland is home to koalas, bandicoots, water dragons, wallabies, greater gliders and around 50 species of native birds. Get back to nature with the whole family in this easily accessible playground. It’s also where you’ll find some great Mountain Bike Trails if you prefer two wheels.
